Rules and Format:

DUPR Rules:

  • DUPR is recorded once at the start of the season.
  • Team total = sum of the 4 highest DUPRs on your roster (regardless of weekly lineup).
  • Unrated players will receive an assigned average based on their division (if entering the 13-15 bracket, a 3.5 DUPR rating will be assigned to any non-rated players)
  • Scores will NOT be reported to DUPR this season.

Team Roster:

  • Minimum 4 players (2 men / 2 women), maximum 8 as subs.
  • Up to 6 players may compete per match.
  • Rosters lock after week 2.
  • Max 4 games per player per match.
  • No pair can play together more than twice per match.
  • Captains are responsible for full weekly attendance (unplayed games are forfeits).

Pre-game rules:

For the lineups, team captains can do 1 or 2 behind the back. The winner decides whether to act or react to the first match lineup and chooses to play men’s or women’s doubles first; the loser has to act or react accordingly. For the following round, the captain who lost the number guess gets to choose to act or react. Each round alternates from there.

Match format:

  • Best of 7 games (all 7 games are played each night — total games may determine tiebreakers).
  • Games to 11, win by 1.
  • Switch sides at 6.
  • One timeout per team per game.
  • Players on court make line calls (no outside input).

Order of Play:

  • Game 1: 1st Gender Doubles: Gender (Men or Women) will be determined by 1/2 behind paddle.
  • Game 2: 2nd Gender Doubles: The opposite gender from Game 1 will play.
  • Game 3: Mixed Game 1
  • Game 4: Mixed Game 2
  • Game 5: Mixed Game 3
  • Game 6: Mixed Game 4
  • Game 7: Mixed Game 5

Weather/unforeseen event:

In the event of a weather or other unforeseen event, a make-up day will be added on to the week after the last day of the league.

Fees and Waitlist:

  • $350 per team
  • Waitlist available if division fills.
  • No refunds after registration closes.

Score reporting

Captains will receive a scoresheet via google sheets every week before their match. Make sure you have the google sheet app download on your phone. Further instructions will be provided prior to the start of the league.
