Doubles pickleball not giving you the amount of cardio you crave? Perhaps you’re a tennis player who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of dinking yet but you’ve still got a killer passing shot and feet as fast as lighting?? Or maybe your Winter Classic doubles partner dropped you after you popped up that one dink on that last match point which led to missing the podium by one point??? Worry not – we’ve crafted just the event for you!

iPickle is excited to announce Rallies & Roses, our first-ever dedicated singles tournament. Held on Valentine’s Day weekend, Rallies & Roses will be the perfect opportunity to showcase your athleticism, connect with fellow singles enthusiasts, and maybe even spark a new friendship! In addition, it will be the a safe space for all those who are *allergic to being in the kitchen* and were unable to cook their significant others a romantic dinner the night before. Whatever your reason for joining, just be prepared to smash some hearts with your lethal serve, cat and mouse your way to glory, and return to The Narrows for a different flavor of pickleball!

*For those unfamiliar with pickleball singles, we suggest you do about 50 jumping jacks right now to get the blood flowing because on Feb 15, you’ll be experiencing the pickleball equivalent of a HIIT exercise.*

DIVISIONS
Men’s & Women’s Singles  2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 (ages 8+, 35+, 50+)
PLEASE NOTE the following when entering:
• We recognize that many players have yet to establish a Singles DUPR rating. To ensure players aren’t entering divisions that they are too advanced for, those with an NR Singles rating will ONLY be allowed to enter divisions that are equal to or higher than their Doubles rating.
• In order to create a full round robin, some age groups may be combined within their skill level.

$3,000 OPEN PRIZE MONEY
The Open divisions are for skilled players who normally compete in the 4.5 – 5.0+ divisions, these players compete at a high level and some may compete at the professional qualifier level or even professional main draw.

Men’s Singles Open $1,500 (1st: $700, 2nd $500, 3rd $300)
Women’s Singles Open $1,500 (1st: $700, 2nd $500, 3rd $300)

*NOTE: A minimum of 10 participants in each division will be needed in order for the Open events to be held.

*Results for the Open Divisions will NOT be reported to DUPR

Each division will be allocated 3.5 hours to play. As this is our tentative schedule, division start times may change prior to the start of the tournament.

PLAY COURTS
52 total courts available (16 permanent courts + 12 hybrid courts + 24 taped courts )

FORMAT
Continuous Round Robin play with guaranteed minimum of 5-10 games depending on bracket size. Medals to be awarded for the top three finishers.

Purchase Franklin X-40 balls at any iPickle Pro Shop!

USAPA 2024 Pickleball Rules will govern.

***Joola Gen3 and 3S paddles are NOT PERMITTED***
*** Joola MOD TA-15 Paddles are approved to use per USAPA rules. July 1 2025 this paddle will not be permitted to be used at an iPickle event.

ENTRY FEES
$60 per person 2.5 to 5.0 divisions
$90 per person Open Prize money divisions
10% discount for all iPickle facility members

Final Registration Deadline is Monday, Febuary 10 at 11:59PM

DUPR
All scores will be posted to DUPR with the exception of the prize money Open divisions.  Players should register for free DUPR account if they have not done so already at MyDupr.com. You will also need to join the iPickle DUPR Club, which can be found at this link. Neither player on a team may have a DUPR rating higher than the division entered (eg. a 3.5 male may not play in 3.5 mixed division with a 4.05 woman as the woman is not eligible).

AWARDS
iPickle Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers
*Note: for age groups that get combined, we may not award all age groups medals. 

FREE GIFT
Every player will receive a free gift as well as a chance to win raffle prizes all throughout the weekend

MULTIPLE DIVISION ENTRIES
Players may enter in more than one division, but must go through the registration process for each event. If there are time conflicts with multiple division entries once the final schedule is released, we will fully refund you for the level you are not able to play.

RAIN OUT
In the event that our tournament is rained out and we are unable to complete play with same and/or next day postponements, the tournament will be postponed to another day or fully cancelled. If postponed and you are unable to make the new date, we will fully refund you your entry fee. In the event of a cancellation, we will also fully refund you your entry fee. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We have an ice machine and filtered water sink on site. We will also have a food truck as well as pickleball vendors all weekend. Security will be present in our parking lot(s). iPickle medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. If you have volunteered at an iPickle event in the past and have an entry credit that you would like to use, please email ralliesandroses@ipickle.com and we will apply your credit!

REGISTRATION PROCESS
