Levels: DUPR 10-12, DUPR 12-14, DUPR 14-16, DUPR 16-18, DUPR 18-20, DUPR 20-23 (PRO OPEN)

How DUPR total is calculated: DUPR is recorded one time during registration. Your team DUPR is the total of the four players. If a person has two DUPR IDs, we will use the higher DUPR ID. (Players are responsible for reaching out to DUPR to combine multiple IDs as needed.) 

*If a player does not currently have a DUPR rating, they should enroll in the league division they feel most aligns with their skill level. All non-rated players will be assigned a DUPR of the average of their division (for example, if you register for the 12-14 division, your DUPR will be 3.25 for reference)

All scores will be posted to DUPR with the exception of the prize money Open divisions.  Players should register for free DUPR account if they have not done so already at MyDupr.com. You will also need to join the iPickle DUPR Club, which can be found at this link. Teams may not have a DUPR rating higher than the division entered.

COURTS:
52 courts (16 permanent courts, 12 dual-lined courts and 24 additional lined courts)

FORMAT:
Continuous Round Robin play with guaranteed minimum of 5 games per registrant. Depending on bracket size, full tournament play can range between 5-10 games (additional games if divisions have playoff rounds).

USAP 2026 Pickleball Rules will govern play, however, this is not a USAP sanctioned event.
iPickle retains right to make exceptions to USAP rules in its sole discretion to ensure fun and fair competition for all (eg. we might award two teams the same medal in the event we have made an administrative error in tabulating results).

ONLY USAP approved paddles allowed.
Please note:  all players are required to ensure their paddles are USA Pickleball approved.  Players
found to be using delisted or unapproved paddles will be required to change paddles and risk forfeiting games played.
Open division players risk forfeiting prize money and medals if an infraction has occurred but not brought to our attention
until after play has completed (subject to Tournament Director discretion).

Match format:  Team Round Robin play with matches consisting of Best of 4 games (2 Gendered Doubles, 2 Mixed Doubles). If tied at 2-2, teams will play  iPickle’s “iBreaker” Doubles with rally scoring to 21 for a tiebreaker.

What is the “iBreaker”?
An iBreaker is a new format we’re introducing to break a 2-2 tie. Traditionally in team-style tournaments, a tiebreaker is played in the Singles format. We’re simply opting to replace this with a doubles format.

An iBreaker begins with the two women from each team playing 4 points of women’s doubles with rally scoring, followed by 4 more points of men’s doubles. Once this is completed, we continue with 4 points of mixed doubles from one pairing and another 4 points of mixed doubles from the remaining pairing. The first team that reaches 21 points wins, however once a team reaches 20 points, they must win the final point on their serve. Team Roster: Teams must have 4 players (2 male, 2 female)

Pre-game rules: For the lineups, team captains can do 1 or 2 behind the back. The winner decides whether to act or react to the first match lineup and if women’s or men’s doubles will start; the loser has to act or react accordingly. For the following round, the captain who lost the number guess gets to choose to act or react. Each round alternates from there. 

Game format:

1. Winner of “1 or 2” behind the back gets to choose serve or side. 
2. Games are played to 11, win by 1. 
3. Switch sides at 6. 
4. One time out per team per game.
5. Players on court call lines and foot faults. Teammates off court AND spectators are not allowed to participate in line calls.

Refunds and waitlist: Any team who is not able to purchase entry to the league can be placed on a waitlist. If a spot opens up in the league, teams will be given an opportunity to join on a first-come, first-served basis. No refunds are allowed once the league has started.

Number of teams required: Each division must have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 teams in order to hold a league. The total number of matches depends upon the number of teams.

**Late Registration Fee of $15 will be in place for unpaid team members that are listed on the roster sheet and are registering after the deadline. Please email 4x4cup@ipickle.com to complete your registration.

Space is not guaranteed for players once registration is closed. Final day for late registration is Thursday, February 26**

Captains: Each team is required to have a team captain who is responsible for fielding their team.

Winner: Winner of the tournament is determined by:

1. Match Wins
2. Head to head
3. Total Game Wins/Losses
4. Total points

There will be a playoff if there are more than 4 teams per division
