ALL ROADS LEAD TO PICKLETOPIA.

Now entering its third year, iPickle’s Pickletopia has grown into one of Southern California’s largest pickleball events with over 1100 entries in both 2024 and 2025. For one magical weekend each year, players from Santa Barbara all the way down to San Diego and everywhere in between come together at The Narrows to compete as well as celebrate the sport that has brought them all the same, boundless joy. For one magical weekend each year, our vibrant pickleball community comes alive to create something bigger than a tournament and for one magical weekend each year, Pickletopia comes into existence to remind us that the best part of pickleball has always been the people that play it.

*Division Eligibility
For Divisions 4.0 and above, teams must have an average DUPR rating of 1.0 of the division level to participate.

How to calculate your Team Average? Player 1 DUPR + Player 2 DUPR ÷ 2 = Team Average
Example: 4.54 + 3.75 = 8.29 ÷ 2 = 4.14 (this team is eligible to play 5.0, but not 5.5 since the minimum is 4.5 for 5.5)

Example qualification:
• 4.0 Division: 3.0+ DUPR Team Average
• 4.5 Division: 3.5+ DUPR Team Average
*Pro Open DUPR minimum is 4.0

PRO OPEN DIVISION PRIZE MONEY BREAKDOWNS:
Men’s & Women’s Pro Open Singles
$1,500 for each Open Division
• 1st Place: $700
• 2nd Place: $500
• 3rd Place: $300

*Division may be cancelled if 12 player minimum is not reached*

Mixed Pro Open Doubles
$4,000
• 1st Place team: $2,000
• 2nd Place team: $1,200
• 3rd Place team: $800 

*Division may be cancelled if 10 team minimum is not reached*

Men’s & Women’s Pro Open Doubles 
$4,000 for each Pro Open division
• 1st place team: $2,000
• 2nd place team: $1,200
• 3rd place team: $800

*ALL OPEN DIVISIONS WILL BE CAPPED AT 32 TEAMS*

PLAY COURTS:
52 courts (16 permanent courts, 36 additional courts)

FORMAT:
Continuous Round Robin play with guaranteed minimum of 5 games. Depending on bracket size, full tournament play can range between 5-10 games (additional games if divisions have playoff rounds).

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT BALL/RULES:
Franklin X-40 
USAP 2026 Pickleball Rules will govern play, however, this is not a USAP sanctioned event.
iPickle retains right to make exceptions to USAP rules in its sole discretion to ensure fun and fair competition for all (eg. we might award two teams the same medal in the event we have made an administrative error in tabulating results).

ONLY USAP approved paddles allowed.
Please note:  all players are required to ensure their paddles are USA Pickleball approved. Players found to be using delisted or unapproved paddles will be required to change paddles and risk forfeiting games played. Tournament staff reserve the right to disallow paddles that are brought to their attention by players that are visibly damaged, delaminated or treated in a way that may affect their original paddle approval. 
Pro Open division players risk forfeiting prize money and medals if an infraction has occurred but not brought to our attention
until after play has completed (subject to Tournament Director discretion).

10% discount for iPickle facility members
10% discount for Early Bird registration by Monday, June 15

**Late Registration Fee of $15 will be in place for unpaid partners that are listed on the roster sheet and are registering after the deadline. Please email pickletopia@ipickle.com to complete your registration.

Final Registration Deadline is Monday, July 6 at 11:59PM 
Space is not guaranteed for players once registration is closed. Final day for late registration is Thursday, July 9**

REFUNDS:
Full refunds are eligible until July 15. Credit towards a future tournament will be issued for requests after July 16 and until the start of the first day of the event. No credit or refund eligible for no-shows.

DUPR:
Scores will be posted to DUPR with the exception of the prize money Open divisions and combined age matches played against players of a different age group.  Players should register for a free DUPR account if they have not done so already at MyDupr.com. You will also need to join the iPickle DUPR Club, which can be found at this link. Neither player on a team may have a DUPR rating higher than the division entered (eg. a 3.5 male may not play in 3.5 mixed division with a 4.05 woman as the woman is not eligible). 

For Divisions 4.0 and above, teams must have an average DUPR rating of 1.0 of the division level to participate.If a player registers for a division that their DUPR rating does not qualify for, they will be automatically moved to the appropriate division based on their rating. DUPR ratings will be verified and set at the time of registration. We will not be changing DUPRs after registration whether your DUPR goes up or down.

Custom 2026 PICKLETOPIA Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers.

***We will continue to award separate medals for combined age divisions. However, only matches played within a player’s designated age division will be submitted to DUPR, while all matches will be counted for medal placement.  Any changes to divisions (level or age group) must be made before the day of the tournament to allow our team to adjust the rosters and scoresheets accordingly. ***

We recommend if your age group has been combined with another age group and you want more games to be reported to DUPR, email us for a request to change to the group with more teams. We cannot change your division on the day of the tournament or after the competition has been completed.
